The Economic Forum for Women Empowerment will be inaugurated in Scotland on Saturday February 29, 2020 in order to empower women for the greater cause ahead.
Founder/Host of the programme, Mrs. Angela Orugbo who made this known in a statement said the event will commence at 2pm at Forgewood Community Center, 49 Dinmont Crescent, Motherwell ML1 3TT, Scotland, United Kingdom.
She said: “Hon. Solomon Ahwinahwi, former member House of Representatives, Senator Ighoyota Amori, Chairman, Asaba Development Agency, Olorogun Mrs. Aghoghovbia, Health & Social Care Professional as special guests while Marion Fellows, Member of Parliament for Motherwell Wishaw, Shona Davidson, Parliamentary Assistant and CLLR. Agnes Magowan as Guest speakers.
According to her, the programme is aimed at empowering women for a greater tomorrow and female participants would be engaged and educated by the guest speakers on heritage projects, health and well-being, pidgin English project, skills acquisition, female genital mutilation, domestic abuse, sickle cell disease, prostrate and breast cancer, modern day slavery and hate crime.
She called on well meaning Nigerians to attend the event as educative and exciting topics will be introduced by the guest speakers to take women to greater heights.
